Miami is the most recognizable place in all of Florida. The city has a lot to offer real travelers as well as people who just want to spend their holidays relaxing on the Atlantic Ocean beach . The metropolis is located practically on the water. It was created on the former swamps thanks to the dreams of a few settlers. They want to create first blood and bone resort on the east coast of the USA.

Miami Beach is a resort located just a 20-minute drive from downtown Miami. It is famous for its night life and beautiful wide beaches with colorful Lifeguards Towers.

The most entertaining street is Ocean Drive. We find there the best clubs and restaurants famous for fresh fish and seafood. This is also the historic Art Deco District, with the largest density of buildings created in that style in the world.

We can also find there crowds of tourists at any time of the day or night. Along South Beach there is a promenade from which we can admire the beaches and the ocean. This is where the beach scenes were created in the Miami Vice series.

Attractions of Miami – Downtown Miami
The center of Miami is mainly filled with skyscrapers of the Miami Business District. To view the strict center, we can use mass transit automated people mover train system called Metromover. Its route leads several meters above the ground. The entire route will take a dozen or so minutes.

Getting off at the Bayfront Park Station you will find yourself near a tropical park where we can enjoy the views of the center and the bay.

It is also located in Downtown. It is sort of marketplace with all souvenirs, restaurants, shops and a small avenue of stars following the example of this Hollywood. You can also experience extreme emotions by buying a ride with very fast boats. Similar to those used for chases in the Miami Vice Movie.

Music lovers can taste Latin rhythms listening to artists performing everyday on the local stage. It is also here that we can purchase tickets for all cruises on ships sailing on Biscane Bay, as well as deep-sea fishing cruises.

Attractions of Miami – Immigrants and Design District
The most colorful neighborhood in Miami is Wynwood. In the nineties, the district was an enclave for Caribbean emigrants. Today, it is best known for colorful murals decorating old warehouses and abandoned factories that have been adapted for various new businesses.

Direct to the Wynwood is the Design District neighborhood. The district is full of restaurants, luxury stores with both unique furniture and clothes, as well as art galleries. The formerly neglected place has been transformed into a design center.

Another interesting neighborhood is Little Havana. We can feel here just like in Cuba. Along the main street Calle Ocho (Eighth street), there are numerous Cuban restaurants, cafes and cigar shops. From everywhere you can hear Latin music and Spanish language. Miami is also a great base for all of Florida. Just a few hours drive away are the biggest attractions of this state: Evergalades National Park, Disneyland, NASA Space Center and the Key West peninsula.

Everglades National Park
The park covers an huge area. Selected parts of it can be explored by car, and some only on foot. Everglades is the largest area of wild subtropical nature in the USA. We can meet many species of plants and animals (birds, fish, mammals, reptiles and amphibians). The main attraction are alligators and American crocodiles. One of the predators endangered with extinction is a Florida panther.
